July 13, 2026 - Morgan Casto, C'20 was honored in the "Faithful Under 40" feature in the spring edition of the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown's Proclaim! Magazine. This award is an acknowledgement of her years of faithful devotion and evangelizing spirit within the Diocese, especially to service of middle and high school youth through her job as a high school biology teacher and Diocese sponsored youth ministry programs. In addition, Morgan will be recognized this fall again by Diocese for 5 years of service in Catholic Education.
March 13, 2026 - Ava Dorazio, C’23, a laboratory manager in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Pittsburgh, was recently honored with the C.E. McClung Award, presented annually for the most outstanding paper published by an undergraduate regular member in BIOS, Beta Beta Beta’s quarterly journal of biology. Read Ava’s story.
January 30, 2026 - Taylor Collins, C’22, recently earned the Allegheny County Juvenile Probation Department’s Rookie of the Year award following an exemplary year of service. The criminology, law and society major credits several Saint Vincent College professors with teaching her to trust her faith in God and follow that discipline throughout her career. Cameron Klos, C’23, recently was among those selected to represent Team USA at the ICO World Kickboxing Championships in Swansea, Wales. Cameron took home eight gold medals and one bronze from the tournament in both sparring and forms, ranking 4th among the top ten competitorsout of more than 2,000 athletes worldwide. Exemplifying the Benedictine values of Saint Vincent, Cameron also serves as a coach and mentor to younger teammates. Read more of Cameron’s story.
Nicole Fratrich, C’21, was named favorite local author in the 2025 Best of Johnstown contest and recently published a religious short story, “The Lots Were Cast” (available on Amazon and www.nicolefratrichauthor.com)
Mary Anand, C’21, matched to internal residency at Kaiser Permanente Mid-Atlantic in Silver Springs, Maryland. She will begin working as a resident physician in July 2025. She is projected to earn her MD from Eastern Virginia Medical School in May 2025. Attached is a photo with Mary and her grandparents at the Match Day on Friday, March 21, 2025.
Grace Noel, C’20, graduated from University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine with a MD degree and accepted an obstetrics/gynecology residency at Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, OH.
Ian Tracey, C’21, had the great fortune of being able to teach for two years at Pannonhalma high school, the oldest learning institution in Hungary. He will soon be taking his oath of Hungarian citizenship in late February. He would encourage any SVC students interested in teaching at Pannonhalma to contact Jody Marsh!
