Faces of Battle
As a senior cyber security analyst and vice president in global information security at Bank of America, Roxanne Ruminski plays a pivotal role in the fight against cybercrime.
Saint Vincent College provided a strong foundation not just for her career, but for life. An internship with a criminal court judge offered firsthand exposure to the legal world while working on campus taught her crucial skills like planning and adaptability. It was this experience, along with a strong desire to disrupt organized crime by "following the money," that launched her career in cybersecurity. Opportunities such as the Global Experience class, which included travel to Ireland, sparked an enduring passion for international exploration, and courses like Field Biology challenged her to embrace discovery and science.
Roxanne is now in charge of the annual fall event on campus called “Faces of Battle,” which mimics the former SVC class of the same name taught by the late Dr. Richard Wissolik. The purpose of Faces of Battle is to inspire, engage, and foster community by sharing first-hand accounts of those impacted by armed conflict.
When not working or volunteering, you’ll find Roxanne hiking in nature or traveling the world with her husband and embracing life's adventures one step at a time.
